Intertropolis is a fictional city located in southeastern Nevada and is the western side of Highway City. Mostly Interstate Shields lives there. Intertropolis is located west of the Town Separator, a curveless toll highway that separates Intertropolis, Nevada and Routeville, Utah as the state border. It is one of two only cities Intertropolis & Routeville mainly takes place. Intertropolis is where characters Interstate 48 and U.S. Route 86 lives in. The Main Interstate Highways lives in Downtown Intertropolis at the Main Highway Lounge of Intertropolis. Officer Interstate 38 is the head chief officer of the Highway City Police Department of Intertropolis (the Intertropolis Police Department). Interstate 248 is the Queen of Intertropolis, with her daughter Interstate 21 being the Princess of Intertropolis and her son Interstate 23 being the Prince of Intertropolis. Intertropolitans are the citizens of Intertropolis.

Intertropolis is a city located in Lincoln County, in Southeastern Nevada, in the Nevada side of the metropolitan area, Highway City. It covers the west side of the metropolis, west of the Town Separator, a toll road expressway which separates Routeville to the east and borders Utah to the east. Intertropolis is located 150 miles (241 kilometers) northeast of Las Vegas and like its twin city, Routeville, is surrounded by the fictional Nanospore Desert.
